Burridge AFC awarded funding to Update Football Ground Equipment 

 

 

This investment will enable Burridge AFC to Update all Ground Equipment. 

 

Burridge AFC can go forward with ground improvements and this project will greatly improve the pitch and grounds which will benefit Burridge AFC and the local community. 

 

This updated equipment will represent a significant improvement on the existing pitch, which is prone to waterlogging, and will help with our annual pitch renovation programme etc.  

 

The site can be used by others such as Local Football Clubs when available. 

 

 

Barrie Becheley Chairman, said:  

 

Without Football Foundation Grant Scheme, we would not be able to afford such Projects 

 

Robert Sullivan, Chief Executive of the Football Foundation, said:  

 

The Football Foundation is working closely with our partners – the Premier League, The FA and Government – to transform the quality of grassroots facilities in England by delivering projects like this across the country.  

  

“Good quality playing facilities have a transformative impact on physical and mental health and play an important role in bringing people together and strengthening local communities.
